Meet Your President
Brett Angwin
If you’ve been around Derby in the last 20 years, chances are you’ve crossed paths with Brett Angwin. With a solid background in sport and recreation, local government, running a pest management business, and even working with the AFL, Brett’s seen Derby and the Kimberley from just about every angle.
Elected as President of the Derby Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) in early 2025, Brett has invested a huge amount of his personal time into building up the Chamber — creating new opportunities for local businesses and keeping the DCCI strong in a town where people come and go.
Off the clock, Brett’s a husband, dad and proud grandfather who enjoys a good yarn at the footy (former Tigers President, by the way ). Passionate about boosting local economic opportunities and improving social and health outcomes for Indigenous communities, Brett has a passion for supporting Derby, its businesses and community.
Next time your down Clarendon Street, swing by the Derby Chamber Office (next to Ray White) and have a chat with Brett.
